The recently-founded 1980 label is bringing together some of the freshest names of Oporto, Lisbon and London’s undergound scenes in the first volume of the “Lyfers” compilation.

Across its 11 tracks the compilation looks to challenge the established rules of the dancefloor, allowing us to feel the vitality of these local music scenes through the personal visions of electronic music of artists such as Tugalife, Unfixed & Broken, José Acid, Daino, Dubout, Zacarocha, Deestant Rockers, XNOIR, Miguel Torga, Darksunn and finally Spaced Out, a production alias of Dealema’s MC Maze.

“Lyfers” is born out of this blend of sounds, influences and cities, a compilation that brings together multiple approaches to contemporary electronica, directly from the studios of the artists who are inventing the future of their respective scenes to the catalogue of Portugal’s newest label.
